Friday, August 12th, Marcus Garvey Day, Live Concert with the Wailers at the WorldBeat Center in Balboa Park, check website for advance tickets.
Sunday, August 14th, 9am & 3pm, Antique & Collectible Show, California Center for the Arts, Escondido.
Saturday, August 13th, 1pm-2pm, Art Program for Grandparents and Grandkids at the Serra Mesa-Kearny Mesa Branch Library.
Saturday, August 13th, 6-9pm, Child's Play, Children's art show at Java Earth, San Diego.
Friday, August 12th - Sunday, August 14th, Oceanside Longboard Surfing Club Contest, Oceanside. Watch world-class surfing, listen to amazing local bands, eat local food and shop vendors. See website for event calendar. FREE.
