Collaborative Art on Canvas with Nature of Arts Kids

Here at Oh, the Places we go, we like to feature and support our local, small businesses and Nature of Art is definately one business we should be supporting. Spramani, owner and artist, has a line of non-toxic paints and eco-friendly art supplies that fit right into our families creative lifestyles. She also has art classes for kids and workshops and can often be found at street fairs and all the major street vendor events going on throughout the year. Her products can also be found at some of the local childrens museums as well as on her website.

Collaborative Art on Canvas

The girls and I had a really great time with our friends down at the Center for Healthy Lifestyle/Boys & Girls Club in Solana Beach this weekend where Nature of Arts Kids was featuring a collaborative art project for Kids M-Power, a non-profit organization in which kids create art and sell it for charity.

Spramani had two available projects going on, both included painting on canvas using her non-toxic paint products. One was very free-flowing with the artists creating art, painting over existing art, to create an ever-evolving piece which will later be sold at one of Kids M-Powers events for charity. The other one had sections, each individually painted by different (kid) artists. Adults had fun contributing as well....

It was such a lovely place to create, outdoors in the beautiful sunshine under a patio adjacent to a vegetable garden, bunny hutch, in the small oceanside town of Encinitas. In the front area kids were making some really nice jewelry earrings, bracelets, also to be sold at the M-Powers events.

Visit Nature of Art for more information about children's art classes, her great art products, and other special projects going on. You can also visit Nature of Art on Facebook.

Have a great week!
